Who is Jacqueline?

Jacqueline Juffer is a third-generation South Dakotan, public policy expert, and business leader whose career reflects a deep commitment to service, leadership, and her home state. Raised in Wagner, South Dakota, Jacqueline is the daughter of Gerrit and Michele Juffer, two lifelong community leaders whose work has shaped the region for decades.

She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at ACG Advocacy, a top-tier public policy firm in Washington, D.C., where she manages day-to-day strategic operations, business development, and high-level advocacy for clients ranging from Nike and Toyota to General Dynamics and the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency. Her work spans sectors like energy, defense, transportation, and sports policy—always with an eye on delivering real-world impact for businesses and communities.

Previously, Jacqueline worked directly for Senator Mike Rounds (R-SD) as his Director of Scheduling and Executive Assistant, managing his D.C. and in-state calendars and maintaining close relationships with South Dakota constituents. She began her career in national-level public service working for Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE), as well as assisted the reelection campaign of Senator Deb Fischer (R-NE), and has since developed a reputation for strategic leadership, client success, and coalition-building.

Deeply involved in South Dakota’s civic life even while based in D.C., Jacqueline serves as Vice President of the South Dakota State Society, leading events that bring together D.C.-based South Dakotans and elected leaders. She was a key organizer of the Midwest Inaugural Gala, a bipartisan presidential event that welcomed more than 1,000 guests and secured significant sponsorships to celebrate Midwestern values and leadership in our nation’s capital. She is also the Treasurer of the South Dakota Federation of Republican Women CyberSpace.

Jacqueline is a proud former Division I swimmer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. At Nebraska, she earned her degree in Economics and Public Policy Analysis while representing Nebraska on the Big Ten governance board and serving as Vice President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She is now pursuing her MBA at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, focusing on non-market strategy and global policy.

Her father, Gerrit Juffer, is the President of Juffer Inc., a Real Estate, Insurance, and Investment firm serving South Dakotans through over a dozen offices across the state and region. With decades of experience in banking, investments, insurance, and real estate, he has built a business rooted in trust and hometown values. Her mother, Michele Juffer, dedicated 25 years to Good Samaritan Society, improving the lives of seniors across rural South Dakota, and now serves on the board of directors for the Wagner Area Growth, Wagner Community Memorial Hospital-Avera, Commercial State Bank, as well as South Dakota Advisory Council on Aging, continuing her commitment to community engagement.

These values of service and stewardship shaped Jacqueline's path. Jacqueline Juffer combines small-town South Dakota values with national policy experience, positioning her as a new generation of public servant ready to lead with integrity, grit, and a heart for the people who shaped her.
